Description
The Medicine Master Glazed Light Buddha is the God of the Pure Glazed World in the East. When he practiced the Bodhisattva path in the past, he made twelve great wishes to relieve the sufferings of all beings, so that they could realize the roots of the universe and attain liberation, and thus became a Buddha according to this wish. He lives in the Pure Glass World, which is as majestic as the Land of Ultimate Bliss. Sunlight and Moonlight are the two great warriors of the Medicine Buddha. They are known as the Three Dharma Masters of Medicine. They are in the form of a conch-hair, holding a pot of medicine in their left hands and making the Seal of Fearlessness (or the Seal of Wishful Thinking) with their right hands, while the two Bodhisattvas of Nikko and Moegwang serve on their left and right sides.
