Description
Green Tara is an incarnation of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Tara, or Tara in Sanskrit, is the full name of the Holy Mother of Goddess of Salvation, known in ancient times in China as Dora Bodhisattva and Dora Guanyin. There are many different incarnations of Tara, including the Twenty-one Degrees of Motherhood, the Five Hundred Degrees of Motherhood, and so on, all of which are the incarnations of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the Green Tara is the principal of all the Tara incarnations, and it summarizes all of the merits of the other twenty incarnations.
