LaoShan Sandalwood Avalokitesvara Pendant

This old sandalwood Avalokitesvara is beautifully carved with smooth, natural lines and a benevolent face to put people in a peaceful mood. Embellished with turquoise, lapis lazuli and southern red, the black obsidian on the chest contains scriptures and the image of the Goddess of Avalokitesvara, visible on the spherical surface, and the back is inlaid with a Tibetan silver six-character motto that can be rotated. Very solemn and dharma-like, worn regularly to gain the protection of the Goddess of  Avalokitesvara for a lifetime of peace and happiness
